Jazz waltz anyone? The 3/4 A section starts with a syncopated pan melody and repeats with an added marimba harmony. The B section alternates 3/4 and 2/4 to accommodate the sing-able chromatic melody. The minor key, chord progression, and meter changes combine to make this a relatively difficult piece. There is a solo section followed by a four bar break for the set player.
